July 2008 Challenge Entry – Shelly Burp Set by ClaireAndJanae

without comments

These two burp cloths are happy and functional.

My burp cloths are made with premium quality cloth diapers which means they are super absorbent and will last through the messiest baby.

They can be washed in hot water so you can use them to clean up any baby spill.

Cloths are about 20 inches by 17 inches (there is variation in size) and could even be used as a changing pad.

I loved having them since my daughter spit up a ton. She had acid reflux and I tried to carry them with me and decided I should make them cuter with fabric.

Taggie loops allow you to attach your cloth to a car seat or stroller so your little wiggle doesn’t throw it on the ground. The loop is shown in the last pictures.

I gift wrap all my listings in tissue with ties and a tag. Let me know if it is a gift!

100% of the sale proceeds will be donated to Etsy for Charity (EFC) Charity of the Month.

June 2008 Challenge Entry – He Really Did Catch the Big One Blank Fish Card and Tag by SherryRenee

without comments

This would make a great Father’s Day Card or a Just Because Card for that special guy in your life who is always telling you they “caught the big one”.

I made this card on cardstock and added a copy of a vintage photo to it. I have stitched on the little fish and the shell type beads. There is a piece of fishy (oops! fisherman probably sounds more masculine!) paper on the opposite side to cover the stitching. The card is 5 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches and the tag is 3 x 4 1/2 inches.

100% of the sale proceeds will be donated to Etsy for Charity (EFC) Charity of the Month.

Notes from the artist :
The best shoe for a baby is a soft shoe and these moks are super soft!

The uppers, inside sole and exterior sole are all reclaimed leather. The mok has an elasticized top for comfy fit and makes it harder for baby to kick off. Then when you are holding baby, everyone will see the cute cutout on the bottom of the foot.
